Strips should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity — do not store in a bathroom cabinet directly above a shower, as moisture and heat degrade the reagents over time. Always replace the cap firmly after removing a strip. An expired or improperly stored strip may give inaccurate readings. If in doubt, use a fresh strip from a new kit.
